The local administration is expected to develop this Township into a new tourist destination through improvement of the access roads and upgrades of recreational facilities. |

It was once appointed offerings to the great Emperor of Japan. Chihshang meal boxes are famous nationwide because of rice. The Dapo Lake is the most interesting site in the valley of the Central Ridge. The lake has rich ecology, offering abundant fishes, prawns, lotus roots, and water chestnuts to the local residents. |
