Taimali is one of the major farming villages in southern Taitung. It is an important fruit production area, especially the large and sumptuous Shijia fruit, which has almost become a synonym of Taimali and brought wealth to the local fruit farmers. Passing up the black tide has also made Taimali a major fishing field. Fishing enthusiasts crowd the beach nonstop and the net fishing ground is open off shore of the Sanhe village. Nets are retracted twice a day and the sight of net fishing creates a special fishing culture in this place.
Taimali Beach, known to be comparable to the Hawaii Beaches, stretches to a few kilometers with wavering shadows of coconut trees. Tens of thousands of people flocked into this speech upon the turn of the millennium to greet the first daylight of the new century. Jinlun hot brings wild fun and golden flowers of the day lilies drive the popularity. This golden country, the home of sunrise, is unfolding its charm exactly like a sunrise and calling visitors into its bosom.
